I was extremely fortunate to be able to join the European leg of the Abacab tour for 12 shows as a rookie, eager to listen and learn from my favourite band. I remain grateful to this day.
I was further blessed to be given the opportunity to join the band for the whole of the Three Sides Live tour starting at the American production rehearsals, eventually culminating at the Peter Gabriel reunion show. Life changing!
After a decade in corporate travel, next came Peter Gabriel’s tour, private and Womad requirements. There were many incredible festivals and shows, lasting the next 10 years!
A true highlight was landing this unknown artist and taking the tour from 200 people at the first show to over 150,000 in 9 months as Jagged Little Pill took the world by storm!
A secret tour I was working on for him was cancelled following the LA incident in April. I’d known Yog since jamming at school together and I continued to arrange his travel until 2005 which included the Parkinson and Oprah TV shows.
My first time as both manager and tour manager, we toured Europe for 3 months with Saga, supported Fish on tour and took the Sweden Rock Festival by storm among many other triumphs! I continued booking and managing the band until 2008.
In addition to the flight, hotel, and travel management on 40+ tours to date around the world, I also provide all social media & content management. We pioneered California Cruising and have provided sports car tours for car clubs and magazines.
I was asked to tour manage the band after being re-introduced to Simon Collins (who I’d first met whilst with Genesis at his 6th Birthday party!) I went on to manage the band and Simon personally and we had two incredible years working together with two European tours, two Cruises and North American TV and concerts tours.
With a new venture, an early client was Sigala who was just breaking as a DJ / Producer / Writer. Over the next year I provided transport and travel logistics for his stadium tour.
I was approached in 2013 and 2018 to tour manage the band, but due to my other tour work, it wasn't possible until February 2020.
Sadly, over the next two years, due to the pandemic and then David Longdon’s tragic death, many tours I put together for the band were subsequently postponed or cancelled.
However, in 2022, we finally left the station with a series of highly acclaimed shows. Along the way, I was delighted also have been asked to handle the band's event and show bookings.
Big Big Train together with Music Tour Services have since completed two extensive European tours, a first highly successful American tour, Cruise To The Edge in 2024 (returning as a headliner in 2025!) as well as major European festivals with a lot more to come.
